A village doctor is a well known person in the villages. He is a popular man. He gets some training by working under a qualified doctor for some years. He has a dispensary in his home. He gets up early in the morning. He then attends to his patients. He gives them medicine and advice.
Sometimes he goes out to see other patients in the village. Sometimes he spends the whole night sitting beside a patient. But he takes small fees from the patients. Really a village doctor is an important figure to the villager. He is loved and respected by all. He is not only a doctor but also a friend to the villager.
