It was an event of
long ago . Then Bayazid Bostami was a little boy .He loved his mother
very much.One night his mother was very
ill. The little boy became very worry
and was studying sitting beside
his mother’s bed. At about midnight his
ailing mother told him to give her a glass of water . Bayzid went to the
pitcher to bring water but it was empty.He
suddenly remembered that there was a spring on the other side of the
village .He went to bring water from the
spring with the pitcher and returned home.He went of his mother with a glass of water but he saw that his mother was sleeping.He
didn’t awake her to disturb her sleeping .So he stood besides her bed with
the glass of water .Thus he spent thea
whole night.Before morning prayer,Bayazid’s mother awoke and became very
astonished to see Bayazid standing with a glass of water besides her bed. She became very
pleased and prayed to Almighty Allah for his bright future.Bayazid became a
great saint in the long run.
